About Byron “Doc” Pearson

I have lived my entire life in the American Southwest. As the son of a real estate attorney and broker, I learned the importance of adhering to high ethical standards while practicing old-school customer service at a very young age. Although I initially followed my dad into the real estate and legal professions, I ultimately decided that teaching was where I belonged. For 28 years I taught American history as a college history professor, spending the last 22 years of my career at West Texas A&M University in Canyon, Texas.

Now that my kids are grown, I have made the mountains of northern New Mexico my home. I am an avid outdoorsman and have been known to take client calls with my phone in one hand and a flyrod in the other. I have published three books and numerous articles about the American Southwest, and I play live music (keyboards) in Angel Fire and Red River. I have a wide variety of interests and thus can appreciate the subtle nuances of every real estate transaction because each deal is different—as is every client. If you are looking for a hard-working real estate professional who is a straight shooter, someone who will communicate frequently with you and maintain the highest ethical standards, them please contact me. Who knows, we may even have a little fun along the way!

I’ll work hard to earn your trust. I’ll work even harder to keep it.
